Armani Code Profumo is a legendary, ultra-masculine flanker in the iconic Armani Code lineup. Launched in 2016, it is celebrated as an absolute powerhouse of a fragrance that blends a warm, amber-heavy sweetness with the classic, clean, and powdery DNA of the original Code line.
Note: While often casually referred to by enthusiasts as an EDP due to its incredible performance and richness, it was technically released as a high-concentration Parfum formulation before eventually being discontinued to make room for newer reformulations.
The bottle perfectly mirrors its fiery, evening-centric character, featuring the signature Code tuxedo-silhouette wrapped in a rich, glowing amber-bronze gradient with a textured black cummerbund neck ring.

Profumo dials down the traditional sharp citrus of the original Code, replacing it with a rich, soda-like effervescence and a massive, resinous base.

What It Smells Like
The opening is uniquely striking: a bright burst of crisp green apple and mandarin layered over warm cardamom, creating a fizzy vibe that many enthusiasts famously compare to a premium "root beer" or "Dr Pepper" float.
As it develops, the fragrance introduces a clean, soapy heart of lavender and orange blossom, which quickly surrenders to a massive, seductive base. The star here is an intense dose of sweet tonka bean and warm amber, darkened beautifully by a smooth, masculine leather accord. The dry-down is incredibly rich, creamy, and warm, leaving a powdery, sweet-spicy trail.
